Surgical oncologist, breast surgeon & gynaecologist — Paris & Neuilly-sur-Seine
Dr Jérémie Zeitoun is a surgical oncologist, breast surgeon and gynaecologist in Paris. Trained at Institut Gustave Roussy — the leading European cancer centre — as well as at Institut Curie and Centre François Baclesse, he manages the full spectrum of breast and gynaecological conditions with a dual oncological and reconstructive approach. He practises at the Paris 8th office (241 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré) and at Clinique Hartmann (Neuilly-sur-Seine).
Breast surgery
Benign lesions, at-risk lesions & biopsy
Dr Zeitoun manages benign breast lesions — fibroadenoma, breast cyst, intraductal papilloma, phyllodes tumour, fibrocystic changes — and at-risk lesions that require surgical excision and follow-up: atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH), atypical lobular hyperplasia (ALH), lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS), radial scar.
He explains results of the ACR BI-RADS classification (ACR 3, ACR 4, ACR 5) and helps patients understand their breast biopsy results. A second-opinion biopsy consultation is available in person or by video consultation.

Lumpectomy, oncoplasty & mastectomy
Breast cancer surgery includes lumpectomy (conservative surgery), oncoplastic surgery — which allows wider margins while preserving the breast shape — and mastectomy (total or prophylactic for BRCA). The sentinel lymph node biopsy technique is performed whenever indicated.
Patients with BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations receive specialised care including bilateral prophylactic mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. Every case is discussed in a multidisciplinary oncology tumour board (RCP).

Breast reconstruction, gynaecological & intimate surgery
Breast reconstruction can be offered immediately (same operative time as mastectomy) or delayed. Techniques include implant reconstruction, latissimus dorsi flap, DIEP flap (deep inferior epigastric perforator), and breast fat grafting. It is fully covered by French national health insurance under the long-term illness programme (ALD) — additional fees apply in sector 2 non-OPTAM.
In gynaecology, Dr Zeitoun performs labiaplasty — reimbursable by French national health insurance under certain conditions; a personalised quote is provided after consultation in person or by video —, operative hysteroscopy, adenomyosis, and gynaecological cancers (cervix, endometrium, ovary, vulva).
Surgical second opinion
An independent view on your medical file
Have you received a diagnosis of breast cancer, of gynaecological cancer (cervix, endometrium, ovary, vulva), a surgical gynaecological indication, or a biopsy result you wish to have confirmed? Dr Zeitoun offers a fast second-opinion consultation — in person at the Paris 8th practice or by video consultation — based on your imaging reports, biopsy results and tumour board (RCP) report. It is a legal right.
Where does Dr Zeitoun operate?
Dr Jérémie Zeitoun operates at Clinique Hartmann, part of Groupe Hospitalier Privé Ambroise Paré – Hartmann (48 ter Boulevard Victor Hugo, 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine). This institution is a reference centre for breast cancer surgery in Île-de-France, part of the Institut du Sein Henri Hartmann (ISHH) network. The operating facilities allow all surgical techniques for breast and gynaecological conditions, as day-case or with hospitalisation.
He consults at the Paris 8th office — 241 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris — and offers video consultations for second opinions, biopsy results and post-operative follow-up. Appointment lead times are generally less than one week. Book via Doctolib.
Practical information
Dr Zeitoun charges additional fees for all consultations and procedures, including for patients under the long-term illness programme (ALD). French national health insurance reimburses on the basis of the national tariff — at 100% of that base rate in case of cancer (ALD 30) — but this reimbursement does not cover the additional fees. Your complementary insurance may cover all or part of these fees depending on your contract.
